This afternoon when I walked out my home,
Suddenly, I was struck by the full force of spring –
The birds singing their songs,
The trees aflame with blossoms,
And the tender kisses of scented breeze,
Overwhelm all my senses and sensitivity.
The vitality and pulsation of nature,
The seductive spring garden,
Awakened me up from the long, weary winter
To celebrate yet another miracle of renewal.
I can only thank God for one more spring.
